What is Memory Foam?
Memory foam, or visco-elastic foam, is a foam that responds to the body's temperature and then perfectly conforms to the body's shape. As the memory foam gently conforms to the body it redistributes the body's weight. More of the body is in contact with the sleep surface: The more square inches of contact, the less overall pressure per square inch. This conformability of the memory foam allows every square inch of the body to be supported and thereby significantly reduces skin pressure by as much as 50%. This improves the circulation, reduces pressure points as well as spinal pressure. Made in the USA.

Developed by NASA

Memory foam, technically visco elastic foam, was originally developed by NASA for use by astronauts. The idea was to create a foam that would sense the body temperature and weight of the astronaut and then gently conform to the shape of the body, providing the perfect amount of support over an extended period of time . . . and particularly during periods of increased G-forces, such as lift off and re-entry.It was such a great success that hospitals began ordering memory foam mattresses for bedridden patients and burn victims.

How Does it Work?
Its visco-elastic properties allow it to automatically sense your weight and temperature, and respond by molding to your body's exact shape and position.

Will This Body Molding Make Me Perspire?
No. The open celled structure is self-ventilating, so it actually dissipates heat. It is best to use all memory foam products with a cotton or poly-cotton quilted mattress pad.

What Causes the Scent of "NewNess"?
Specialized processes give the foam a unique quality and feel. They also create a scent that's noticeable when you first open the packaging. To eliminate it, let your mattress "air out" for 24 hours.

What kind of foundation is needed to support your mattresses?

Box springs are for illustration purposes only. All we sell are mattresses. You will love our mattresses.

This is a very common question for us. Yes, you can use your box springs with our mattresses , but they may need an upgrade. Memory foam mattresses perform best on a firm surface. If you question the firmness of your box springs then simply add plywood over them to create a firm flat surface.

Our memory foam beds can also be used on bed frames with slats ( the slates must be no more than 6” apart), on bunk bed frames , waterbed furniture , murphy beds , and adjustable beds.

Does your mattress come with a box springs, frames or a foundation?

No. The prices listed are for the mattress only.

Do you offer a boxspring, frames or foundation?

No. At this time we do not offer a boxspring, frames or foundation. Most of our customers either use their original or find one at their local mattress outlet store.

Is the Memory Foam you use Made in the U.S.A.?

Yes. Every piece of material that we use on all of our products is made in the U.S.A.

Where do you get the memory foam that you use?

We purchase our memory foam from one of the top foam producers in the country. This facility is also responsible for supplying many other "big named" companies in the memory foam mattress business.
